Joe Davidson, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at Oregon State University where he directs the Intelligent Machines & Materials Lab (IMML). The IMML focuses on improving robotic manipulation in dynamic, unpredictable environments. Some of Davidson’s current research projects include robotic harvesting and pruning (USDA), underwater manipulation (Office of Naval Research) and precision orchard management (Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission).
