John Shelford, currently a strategic adviser for Naturipe Farms, has held executive roles in the highbush blueberry industry since 1976. In the course of his 45-year career, he’s worked with MBG Marketing, Gargiulo/Naples, Hortifrut SA, Global Berry Farms, Naturipe Farms and Naturipe Value Added Foods. An active member of the NABC and USHBC, Shelford has served as USHBC board member and on the USHBC’s Promotion Committee since its inception. He’s a frequent speaker on blueberry industry growth, particularly the frozen blueberry market.
