Growers, processors and marketers know that each day of blueberry harvest can feel like a sprint as labor, fruit quality, weather forecasts and market conditions demand our attention and focus. While increasing global consumption and a rise in the popularity of the blueberry create tremendous momentum for our future, increasing cost factors and dynamic market conditions complicate decision-making as we choose the harvest timing, methods and sales channel for our fruit.
