James French is the Chief Scientist at BBC Technologies. He is responsible for research activities and co-managing the R&D team. James started at BBC Technologies in 2010 as an Electronics and Software Engineer and shortly after that kicked off the company’s first vision-based sorter. James lives in the Waikato in New Zealand with his Partner, Rochelle who is a Veterinarian, along with their 3 cats and 3 dogs. James has travelled extensively with BBC Technologies and his favourite part of his work is getting out in the field and working with customers directly to understand their challenges and opportunities to come up with solutions together.
