AI Solutions to Tackle 21st Century Challenges in Agriculture (Labor, Water, Weather and Climate Change)

Dr. Anantharaman Kalyanaraman leads the AgAID (Agricultural AI for Transforming Workforce and Decision Support) Institute at Washington State University, one of 11 AI Institutes launched by the National Science Foundation and among two funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA) in 2021. Washington State University is leading a multi-institutional research institute to develop artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to tackle 21st century challenges in agriculture related to labor, water, weather and climate change.
